Avery got her start with RSYP as a culinary apprenticeship participant, and is now on the other side of things as the RYSE intern for 2024! She is a senior at Monument Mountain Regional High School and during her time there she has enjoyed being a part of Best Buddies and becoming the Best Buddies chapter president. She is so grateful for all the connections she has made in the Berkshires community but is so excited to start seeing more of the world through college and travel. Avery is also a talented and passionate baker who embraces her talent in her home kitchen and as the pastry chef assistant at Gedney Farm. When she isn’t in the kitchen, she is most likely swimming in the Otis reservoir, running outside, or lifting weights at home or in the gym. She wants to be able to use her role as RYSE intern to help guide others to the realization that they have the power to make any of their dreams come true, even if their path is curvy!
