Family Support and Training: Family Support and Training works to provide a caregiver to help the youth make a comeback into the community. Their services include education; navigating the child-serving systems; fostering empowerment, including linkages to peer/parent support and self-help groups; identifying formal and community resources, support, coaching, training for the parent/caregiver. Girls Inc.: Innovative programs that help girls confront subtle societal messages about their value and potential, and prepare them to lead successful, independent, and fulfilling lives. In-Home Therapy: A structured and consistent therapeutic relationship between a licensed clinician and the youth and family. Their goal is to meet the youth’s behavioral health needs, including improving the family’s ability to provide effective support for the youth to promote his/her healthy functioning within the family. Interventions help to enhance and improve the family’s capacity in order to improve the youth’s functioning in the home and community. For more information call (413) 629-1200.

Learn To Cope: A support group for parents, family members, spouses and caregivers with a family member who is addicted to opiates, alcohol, or other drugs. MEETINGS ARE HELD ON TUESDAY EVENINGS FROM 7:00PM to 8:30PM at the HEAL Community Room, Berkshire Medical Cancer Center Located on the 1st 165 Tor Court, Pittsfield, MA 01201. Teen Outreach Program: Teen Outreach Program is an evidence-based program. Their goal is to extract the positive potential of teens, leading to more success and less risk-taken behaviors that often result in teen violence, school failure and teen pregnancy. The Guthrie Center: Their mission is to bring the youth together for cultural, educational, and spiritual exchange. Therapeutic Mentoring: Therapy provided got youth with serious emotional disturbances in any setting where the youth resides. Offers structured, one-to-one, strength-based support services between a therapeutic mentor and a youth for the purpose of addressing daily living, social, and communication needs. Their goal is to lead the youth to success in navigating various social contexts, learning new skills, and making functional progress in the community.
