Culinary Apprenticeship

Our culinary apprenticeships are a great way for young people interested in culinary arts to get a hands on learning experience. The small groups ensure that each apprentice gets one on one attention from mentoring chefs. Whether you are interested in learning to cook a new dish, honing your existing culinary skills, or getting a look at a potential career path, this is the place for you!

All apprenticeships are free.

Our two Fall 2025 Culinary Apprenticeship programs run from late October through early December, and apprentices will spend six weeks working with chef mentors learning skills necessary to prepare culinary creations in professional kitchens.

  • Line Cook Culinary Apprenticeship: Learn from Chef Zee Vassos of No. 10 Restaurant and get a behind-the-scenes look at the culinary world. This apprenticeship will explore prepping for weekend service, direct response to what is needed at the restaurant and what it is like to have a job on the line. The link cook apprenticeship meets on Wednesdays from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm from 10/22 - 12/3.
  • Culinary Arts Apprenticeship Fall 2025: youth chefs will learn new cooking skills from Chef Kevin Kelly of After Hours.
