Lívia Moraes

Youth & YOB Outreach Advocate

Born and raised in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brasil, Lívia brings a passion for community, music, and advocacy to our team. With the Youth Operational Board, she ensures that young voices are heard and valued in every decision. Rooted in a love for music, Lívia finds joy in Brazilian samba & jazz, reggae rhythms, and the tunes of Madonna, Milton Nascimento and jam bands. Since first setting foot in the Berkshires in 2016, she has been captivated by its charm and nature, a place where she feels most at peace. Birdwatching or simply reveling in the company of animals, she finds comfort and inspiration in the great outdoors. Beyond her advocacy work, Lívia also finds joy in dancing, being in/by the water and hanging out with friends. With a background in accounting and years spent dedicated to supporting adults with disabilities, she brings with her a wealth of experience and empathy.
