Layla Baker

Youth Operational Board Intern

Born in New Haven, Connecticut, Layla Baker is a sophomore at Mount Everett Regional High school. She is fluent in Spanish, and is part of the New Day club in her school. She is known for her kindness, strong work ethic, and genuine nature, always valuing friendship, loyalty, honesty, and compassion. Layla has a passion for music, photography, makeup, skincare, reading, baking, loves getting her nails done, and enjoys expressing herself through her favorite color, red. She loves nature, camping, swimming, and paddle boarding. Proud of her Mexican heritage, she loves celebrating Mexican holiday and traditions, and she especially loves visiting her family in Mexico. Her favorite holiday is Halloween, given that her birthday is around then. Above all, Layla loves spending time with her family, which brings her the most joy.
